Scholarship Information for Applicants
Every year this branch awards several scholarships. The number of scholarships and their value will vary each year depending upon our fundraising, and the amount our invested endowments earn. Briefly, below, are the types of scholarships we typically give.
Graduate Scholarships
The San Antonio Branch of the American Association of University Women offers scholarships to assist women to complete a graduate degree. Applications must be postmarked by February 12, 2010. Find more information about Graduate Scholarships here.
Transition Scholarships
The San Antonio Branch offers scholarships to assist women transitioning from a two-year to a four-year institution. The deadline is February12, 2010 (applications must be postmarked by that date)for applicants to submit their name, address, telephone number, email address, transcript demonstating a grade point average of 3.0 (or the equivalent) or better and proof of acceptance to a four-year institution to: AAUW San Antonio, P.O. Books Scholarships
The San Antonio Branch offers scholarships to assist women in purchasing required text books. The deadline is February 12, 2010 for applicants to submit their name, address, telephone number, email address, transcript demonstating a grade point average of 3.0 (or the equivalent) or better and proof of requirement for text books to: AAUW San Antonio, P.O.
